About the job

We are seeking a QHSE Manager for Project Rui-Li 1 to develop, implement, and manage our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and policies. This role ensures compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices, aiming for the highest levels of safety, quality, and environmental protection.

The QHSE Manager will foster a safety culture, align project teams with QHSE objectives, and oversee the QHSE Engineer in preparing necessary documentation and procedures for bid submissions. Reporting directly to the Project Director, the QHSE Manager will collaborate with the QHSE Engineer, department heads, and project teams to integrate QHSE principles throughout the project.

Project information IX Renewables has a strong presence in the Taiwan offshore wind market. From our office in Taipei, we are working on the development of several offshore wind farms. One of these projects concerns the development of a floating offshore wind farm. The project is in bidding stage and is expected to be commissioned in 2030.

Responsibilities and tasks:

We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards such as ISO 9001. The role includes:

• Quality Management: Leading quality audits and improving processes and documentation.

• Health and Safety: Developing safety procedures and conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.

• Environmental Management: Overseeing environmental impact assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Oversight of QHSE Engineer: Providing direct guidance and delegating daily tasks while maintaining overall responsibility for QHSE outcomes.

• Continuous Improvement: Fostering a culture of improvement and implementing KPIs for QHSE performance.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations related to quality, health, safety, and environment.

• Reporting and Communication: Regularly reporting to the project team on QHSE performance and ensuring effective communication of QHSE issues.

About you

• A Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field of study.

• Extensive experience in setting up QHSE programs in the renewables industry.

• A strategic and creative thinker that can quickly understand and analyses complex challenges.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of social/political/economic issues relevant to local stakeholders.

• Superior writing skills and verbal skills in Mandarin and good command of the English language in words and writing.
