Inspections
At IX Renewables, we assess the technical state of a windfarm by inspecting them on-site. This calls for experienced and well-trained personnel able to verify the turbines’ technical state and identify potential issues. IX Renewables’s unique approach to inspections translates the technical reporting into high quality asset management recommendation. By collecting and analyzing inspection data, patterns in technical deficiencies are identified. This information is used to base wind farm decisions, for instance, we how much retention is required in order for the supplier to fix found issues. Inspection at any stage. Inspections can be carried out at any point during the fabrication, de-commissioning and operation of the equipment.
Our offer of inspections cover End-of-Construction (EoC), End-of-Warranty (EoW), take overs and decommissioning/or End of-Life (EoL). For all our different offers, we focus on assessing asset performance, condition during operation and damage investigation. What we look at Inspections can cover all components of wind power generation systems including the rotor, nacelle, tower, foundation and electrical system. We can inspect both onshore and offshore facilities – including offshore substation platforms. All our inspections are carried out by highly qualified inspection engineers with several years of experience in the wind energy sector. They are fully trained on all relevant safety, measurement and operational topics, allowing them to work in a wide range of locations, weather conditions, and with different turbine configurations.
